Logistics Management is a new program that is offered at Lone Star College-Houston North Fallbrook. It is a business management program that prepares students for employment in the areas of supply chain management. The median salary in this industry is $61,415.

Tom Hollis, Workforce Instructor, is excited to teach this program and merge the curriculum with one of Lone Star College-Houston North’s wraparound services. “This one-of-a-kind lab was inspired by Amazon’s logistics area and will serve as the hub for LSC-Houston North’s CARE Program food pantries, that provides food items to help support our student’s needs,” said Hollis.

The lab is made for interactive learning. Equipped with six 55-inch LG specialized video wall TV monitors where students will be able to evaluate the food pantry inventory as well as track shipments of goods from Lone Star College-Houston North Fallbrook to other Houston North locations while also being used for instructional use.
